A sample of Tungsten metal in the form of zone refined single crystal rod.  Purity is 99.99%.  Please note this listing is for a single rod weighing 24-26g.  These rods make for a very unique sample of Tungsten metal which was produced by zone refining, resulting in a single metal crystal of very high purity.  Material like this is very rare and usually very expensive due to the zone refining process used to purify the metal for research purposes.  Note the ripply surface texture of the sample from the zone refining process.
