A 34g sample of Silicon in the form of a beautiful lab grown pulled single crystal.  This amazing piece was grown using the Czochralski Process.  This process results in very pure single crystals used in the semiconductor industry.  The surface of the crystal shows the characteristic ripples resulting from the growth of the crystal as it is pulled from the melt.  This is high purity 99.999%+.
