A sealed ampoule of pressurized supercritical Xenon gas/Iodine solution.  Purity is 99%+.  This amazing sample will phase change before your eyes when cooled below 16°C.  Let it warm up above 16°C and watch it boil away into the gas phase again.  The first picture shows a cooled ampoule on the left in liquid phase which looks like a purple solution with some visible iodine crystals.  The ampoule on the right is at room temp in gas phase which looks like a purple gas with some visible iodine crystals.  This is truly an amazing sample and fun to watch!  This fits perfectly inside the included 1 dram vial for display.
