A 55.3g sample of Titanium metal in the form of a machined crystal bar.  Purity is 99.99%.  Crystal bars like these were produced in the former Soviet Union by the crystal bar process aka van Arkel–de Boer process which results in extremely pure metal.  These are rarely offered for sale and are becoming extremely hard to find.  This piece has been drilled through from one side to the other and machined and drilled on one end.  It's still an interesting piece and has a beautiful crystalline surface.  This is a unique form of Ti metal not commonly found.
