A sample of Beryllium metal in the form of a large 58.7g machined part.  Purity is 99.9%.  The part has a cracked area and a chip on the bottom side as can be seen in the photos.  Parts like this usually come from gyroscopes used in aircraft and aerospace applications.  Be metal is extremely lightweight and suitable for these types of applications.
